Roadside Picnic is named after one of the greatest sci-fi books ever, and it resembles the DNM take of the famous Life Pedal. Built for endless drones or high-gain adventures in the wasteland.
This pedal is build to order and the lead time is approximately 3 weeks.
PCB designed and built by hand in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
Controls
Boost - controls the level of the boosted signal
Dist - controls the amount of gain in the distortion circuit
Filter - Counter-clockwise for more treble, and clockwise for less.
Level - Controls the output level of the distortion circuit
Octave - Blends the octave fuzz into the circuit
Clip Toggle – Switches between three clipping options:
- Up – Symmetrical Silicon
- Middle – No clipping (Op-Amp distortion)
- Down – Asymmetrical Silicon/LED
Specifications
- True bypass
- 9V DC power (centre negative)
- No battery option available
- 1590XX enclosure with top mounted jacks
- Using an isolated power supply is recommended. Daisy chains will mostly work fine, but might introduce unwanted noise.
